  • Heat the mix of Kalonji oil (10 grams), Olive oil (30 grams) and Mehandi powder (30 grams) for few minutes till it converted into paste. Apply the paste over your head and wash it. The method is helpful to get rid of dandruff.

Using Shea Butter correctly on the hair.

Shea butter can be applied on the hair to give a natural look. Thousands of dollars are wasted by women on hair care products, but these products provide little, if any benefit to the hair. You should remember one thing that shea butter isn’t a hair conditioner and therefore, doesn’t protect the hair from becoming dry. Shea butter shouldn’t be used alone as it will make the hair dry. Also don’t use shea butter on dry hair; only use it on the hair having moisture in it.

Shea butter is quite beneficial for the scalp (skin covering the head) and the hair. A major benefit of shea butter is that it can control the growth of the hair. It also restores the hair follicles and the scalp, giving birth to healthy and fast growing hair. Shea butter improves the performance of scalp and hair, when applied regularly. The hair follicles are also renewed and healthy hair growth is promoted. Some people complain of the threat of baldness and ultra-thinning of hair. Such kind of people should apply shea butter regularly on their hair. There are specific ingredients present in shea butter which lead to the improvement of scalp structure. Shea butter improves existing hair and gives birth to new hair. You will feel significant difference in your hair after applying shea butter just for one week. You will observe that your hair have grown thick and there aren’t any split ends. There will be a rapid growth in your hair. Your hair will grow up to one inch long within a few weeks of shea butter usage.

Hair loss due to stress Posted on 20 Apr 02:20

Keratin Treatments:

Keratin treatment creates a barrier from heat and humidity so it can be a great treatment for clients WHO HAVE PERFECTLY HEALTHY HAIR,  but are looking for their  natural hair curl and frizz to be smoothed out and protected from the elements. A keratin treatment will not remove the curl completely but it will cut your clients straightening time in half, if not more.

 Why blog this?

Fellow Stylist:

As I have put in all caps above. Keratin treatments  are to be used on HEALTHY HAIR  that needs to be tamed a bit.  I am definitely a fan.  But only on healthy hair. Unlike a perm or relaxer and it doesn't change the disulfide bonds, making it a  semi permanent  treatment.  Unlike Hedera, which will straighten when used with an hot comb or flat iron.
